Your data
EvolvME Privacy Policy
Effective July 31, 2026
Data EvolvME collects
- Account data: email address, user ID, and related authentication records when you choose secure sign-in.
- Body progress data: measurements, body-fat estimates, notes, goals, check-in dates, progress history, AI analysis history, and AI calibration corrections you save.
- Photos: progress photos you capture or select, plus photo metadata such as date, view label, file type, file size, and associated measurement ID.
- Support data: feedback messages, issue type, app version, screen name, contact email, and message content you submit for support or testing feedback.
- Technical records: operational records needed to authenticate requests, protect the service, sync data, generate upload/download links, and enforce feature limits.
How data is collected
- From you: information you enter, save, import, or submit, including measurements, goals, notes, feedback, and account information.
- From your device with your permission: photos you capture with the camera or select using the system photo picker.
- From connected services: authentication status from Amazon Cognito and purchase or entitlement status from Apple and RevenueCat.
- Automatically during service use: limited technical records created when the app authenticates requests, syncs data, protects the service, troubleshoots errors, or enforces feature limits.
- When you request an AI photo comparison: the measurements, photo information, calibration details, and compressed photos needed to complete that specific request.
How data is used
EvolvME uses data only to provide and improve the features you choose to use:
- Store and display your measurements, goals, photos, AI history, and progress history.
- Sync saved measurements, photo metadata, and progress photos when you are signed in.
- Create signed upload and download links for progress photos.
- Generate a fitness-focused photo comparison when you request one.
- Respond to support requests, tester feedback, and service issues.
- Protect accounts, authorize API requests, troubleshoot errors, and enforce usage limits.
Local storage and cloud sync
EvolvME stores app data locally first. On iPhone, data is stored inside the app's local storage area. On web, EvolvME may use browser localStorage and IndexedDB. If you sign in, saved measurements and photos may sync to cloud services connected to your account.
If you export a backup, the backup file may include measurements, photo metadata, AI analysis history, and AI correction history. Backup files are created only when you request an export.
AI-assisted photo comparisons
AI features are optional, and core tracking remains available without them. When you choose to request an AI-assisted photo comparison and its resulting analysis, that action initiates the transfer to OpenAI of the information needed for that specific request. This may include measurements, photo dates, photo view labels, scale anchors, calibration corrections, and compressed progress photos. Do not request an AI photo comparison if you do not want the applicable information sent to OpenAI.
EvolvME may save the resulting AI analysis, related history, and corrections you choose to make so that they can appear in the app and improve later results for your account. You can stop future AI transfers at any time by not requesting additional AI photo comparisons.
AI output is a fitness reflection only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a clinical body-composition measurement. Do not use EvolvME as a substitute for a qualified health professional.
Service providers
EvolvME uses service providers only as needed to operate the app and website. EvolvME requires providers processing personal data on its behalf to protect that data consistently with this policy and applicable contractual and legal requirements.
- Amazon Web Services for authentication, API hosting, databases, photo storage, signed photo links, and support email delivery.
- OpenAI for AI-assisted photo comparisons you request.
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement, purchase-status, and customer-support management.
- Expo for application build, update, and development infrastructure.
- Apple for App Store distribution and platform services.
- Cloudflare for website hosting, content delivery, DNS, security, and related website request records.
EvolvME does not sell personal information. EvolvME does not use progress photos, measurements, or fitness data for advertising, marketing, or third-party data mining.
Permissions
EvolvME asks for camera or photo-library access only when you choose to capture or select a progress photo. You can decline these permissions and continue using measurement tracking. You can change permissions later in iOS Settings or your browser settings.
Tracking and advertising
EvolvME does not currently include third-party advertising, ad tracking, or cross-app tracking. EvolvME does not sell user data.
Data retention and deletion
Local entries remain on your device until you delete them, clear application data, or uninstall the app. Cloud account data, synced measurements, photos, AI history, and related records are retained while your account remains active unless you delete individual items using available app controls. You can permanently delete your account and associated cloud data from Settings while signed in.
Account deletion removes the account and associated active cloud records, including the cloud profile, synced measurements, photo metadata, stored progress-photo objects, timeline entries, and AI usage records. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected service backups or logs until those systems complete their normal retention cycles. Limited records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or service integrity.
Support messages and related correspondence are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, resolve disputes, and meet legal or security obligations. Deleting an EvolvME account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions can be managed in Apple Subscriptions.
International processing
EvolvME and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between those locations. EvolvME uses the safeguards described in this policy and requires applicable contractual and legal protections when service providers process personal data.
Security
EvolvME uses reasonable technical safeguards to protect information, including platform app sandboxing, secure token storage on native devices, authenticated API requests, and signed links for photo upload and download. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your device credentials and avoid adding sensitive medical information to free-text notes.
Children’s privacy
EvolvME is not directed to children under 13, and personal information from children under 13 is not knowingly collected. Contact support@sparkslabshq.com if you believe a child has provided personal information.
